Program search — Brachial neuralgia
Name | Brachial neuralgia |
Description | Neuralgia of the shoulder joint is a rather unpleasant pain syndrome that occurs when the nerve fibers are compressed. In this case, the nerve itself is not inflamed, and the pain appears due to swelling or inflammation, which are located nearby. In this case, one should not confuse neuralgia with neuritis (plexitis) of the shoulder joint, since in the latter case the inflammation occurs in the nerve itself. Nevertheless, these two problems are closely related, since neuralgia quite often develops in neuritis, if the necessary treatment has not been carried out and the inflammation has spread to the nerve itself |
